Introductory foraging walk
Covid-19 information
We will continue to check the UK guidelines and adjust things where necessary. Please have a read of the terms and conditions for full details. This workshop will be limited to 15 people and you must not have a group booking of more than 6 people.
Here’s a chance to immerse yourself in nature whilst learning to forage along the way.
First you’ll get into the mindset of a forager, before heading out to discover the vast array of wild edibles lying all around us, including mushrooms, berries and nuts.
You’ll leave with a knowledge of foraging, having learnt about the different ways you can eat and cook with wild ingredients and where to find them.
The experience lasts for 1.5 hours.
Location: Private woodland near Wraxall in Bristol towards Somerset, specific meeting point to be given on booking.
Parking available.
Age 16+
What should I bring?
Come along wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for the weather.
You may like to bring something to take notes on – whether that’s your phone, a camera or a notepad. You could even sketch some of the things that you see.
Please bring a drink and snacks for yourself for the walk to keep you going.
